CMSA is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the support and development of the profession of case management through educational forums, networking opportunities, and legislative involvement.

Founded in 1990, CMSA currently has over 70 affiliated and prospective chapters, one of which is the NC Piedmont Triad Chapter.

The NC Piedmont Triad Chapter (NC1 Greensboro) was founded in 1993 in Greensboro, NC. It was the first CMSA Chapter in North Carolina (see History). It is now one of five North Carolina chapters (and one extension) and remains committed to providing networking and educational opportunities to all professionals working in the field of Case Management.
